                                   hello guys i'm Dylan Martineau and i will be talking about war.... modern war games! i am one of Stephens godd friends that likes to talk about the army.  Modern war games is a big genera  in the gaming community and has grown exponentially.

The two big games are Call of Duty and Battlefield. the two newest game Black ops 4 and Battlefield 5. Black ops 4 is  has a big battle royale up to 100 players on a classic map, including some areas as old places for past Call of duty. Battlefield 5 is a stunning new take in World War 2 with Modern installments. Story Time

The times I went to M.E.P.S in Minneapolis Minnesota. First of all, M.E.P.S stands for Military Entrance Processing Station, it is a building located in Fort Snelling that is used for the enlisting process in all armed forces branches of the military and is used for in processing for soldiers before they go to basic training. My day started off like any other getting up at 0700 and getting ready to go to school except today was special i got to leave at 10:30 which was towards the end of my favorite class, history with Mr. Distel. I got out of school and got in my car and drove to the St.Cloud recruiting office and parked my car. I got out of my car walked into the recruiting office and sat at my recruiters desk and waited for him to tell me what to do. Then I started on some paperwork to fill out and finished that then i talked to the first sergeant and confirmed I was ready for my enlistment. I boarded the shuttle and put my seat belt on and took the 2 hour trip down to the federal building. Once we got there we took off our shoes and backpacks and hats and belts and coats and put them on a conveyor belt and went through a metal detector. The after that I went in the elevator to the third floor and got off and went down the hallway to the entrance of M.E.P.S and opened the door and walked in and put my stuff in a locker and then signed in and went down the hall way to take the A.S.V.A.B test which I got a 69 on. Then after I finished that I waited from 4:30 until 7:30 at night to go to the hotel and once we got to the hotel I went to the common area for the military whatever. We then had a meeting and got the run down of what was going to happen and got our dinner and breakfast tickets and then went to dinner at 8:30 at night and was done by 9 went to my room and went to bed. I woke up at 4:30 to the phone ringing so I jumped up picked up the phone and put it back down got dressed cleaned up my room and went down to go get breakfast then after breakfast everybody lined up and we got on a bus and headed back to the federal building and we all lined up again outside of the building then walked in and went through security and went back up and lined up again and signed in then after that we all were given a folder of stuff we need to do for the day and I went into the medical area to do my medical and physical tests like blood, hearing, sight, piss, and  physical. After the physical i had only one thing left to do and that was the height weight and flexibility test i got on the scale and I weighed 3 pounds over the limit to get in so they measured my gut and i was under the limit for bmi but the guy measured to low on me so i was over and then i was done no swear in or enlistment I was pissed and sad I was looking forward for this day since i was a young kid and now it was over after that I went home .

News and Opinion of the Day

Dear Reader's
Today's opinion comes from a news paper article i found about how Trump's Transgender military ban is back in court. My opinion on this topic is that men and women who choose there gender should be allowed to serve in the U.S. Military. On the other hand I understand why people would not want transgender people to serve. The article says that the decision would reverse Obama's decision of letting them serve and to pay for there medication, but in my opinion the only thing that should be changed is for the payment of the drugs that are provided by the government for these soldiers if these people decide by themselves they want to change genders good for them, but it should not be at the expense of the government they should have to pay for it with their own insurance or out of their own pocket. Another issue in this article is unit cohesion and i believe from what i have seen with my own unit cohesion shouldn't be an issue no matter the gender just don't brag about it or make it an issue. People are people it does not matter what gender they are and if people have a problem with that in the military then why are they there at all, the military is supposed to the nations toughest citizens mentally and physically and if someone has a problem with another persons gender they do not belong so the issue is not the transgender people it's the people who discriminate against them.
